How to Store Halloween Wind Chimes Between Seasons

Photograph the layout before taking it down
Take a full photo and a closer view of the hanging lines before removing the decoration. This gives you a reference for next season and helps you notice whether a piece is tangled. Inspect before packing
Check the suspension points, lines, ornaments and tubes for visible damage. Note anything that needs attention instead of hiding it in a box for another year. Pack only when the decoration is dry. When you unpack, compare the arrangement with that photo and inspect the hanging points again before reuse. Recheck the chosen display area too: a new door, plant or piece of furniture may have changed the clearance since last season.
